DMR Contact Manager is a custom-designed software package designed for use with Connect Systems CS700/CS701 radios, as well as the Tytera MD-380/390/390GPS, AnyTone D858, Retevis RT3, and similar radios that use the RDT file format, and Connect Systems CS750/751, CS800/801, and others that use the RDB file format. These units are MOTOTRBO-compatible DMR mobile radios suitable for both commercial and amateur radio applications.
Contact Manager makes it easy to maintain channel, zone, contact and call group information in these radios. It is fully compatible with the DMR-MARC database system and allows instant codeplug updates from a wide variety of sources.
The latest Contact Manager release supports channel editing, importing, and exporting, as well as zone and scan list management for RDT and RDB files. It's now a snap to move channels and zones between codeplugs - - and with Contact Manager's built-in IntelliPaste functionality, associated contact information is always imported right along with channels whenever it's needed - - so that your imported channels work right the first time!

Tytera MD380 Experimental Firmware to add audio feedback for visually impaired hams
Update May 2017 :
Helped a blind ham by making a DMR transceiver visually impaired friendly. After download TY firmware for the CW channel feature. I turned the Morse Code feature On, when this feature is On it readout the zone name.

What is CPSProgrammer?
DMR (Digital Mobile Radio) is a digital voice (DV) modulation scheme, which becomes more and more popular in amateur radio (ham radio). To be able to use the radio transceivers, all frequencies (channels) used must be entered as a „memory channel“ into the so called codeplug (CP). There is a huge number of local radio repeaters, as well as analogue FM repeaters and simplex frequencies, which all have to be entered into the CP by typing it manually into a programming software (CPS). Only in Germany we currently have about 270 DMR repeater, which expand to about 600 channels (2 timeslots + many mixed mode FM) only for DMR.

CPSProgrammer is an automatic programming (programming robot) of the channel information of a CPS.
CPSProgrammer reads all input-information from a CSV file. CPSProgrammer is designed to interact with the existing vendor-provided CPS software. CPSProgrammer does not read or write codeplug-files (.rdt, .rcd, .rcdx). The vendor's CPS software must be running for CPSProgrammer to update the codeplug that is open in vendor's CPS software (see picture above: "Principle of the CPSProgrammer"). Currently supported CPS software.

Does anyone know the way to un-install MD380 Tools from an MD 390? It has done terrible things to my radio.

Tytera TYT MD-380 Instructions to Reset
I recently found that using the md380tools from Travis Goodspeed I was able to apply a more feature-full firmware and found instructions on how to reset the password.
The reset hasn't worked for me.
The instructions to reset can be found at:

I unfortunately still have issues.
After reading some more, the new firmware allows one to update the DMR ID without needing to program it.
Also, I found the best results by using a raspberry pi with the md380tools.
